Based on a summary and analysis of heating character of air source heat pump, the conception of optimal energy balance point is put forwards, then its mathematics model developed and the sensitivity analysis of mathematics model made. The optimal energy balance point temperatures corresponding to potential regions for air source heat pump are obtained, which are recommended as design reference data.
