This article explains the theory of natural ventilation and its application in ecological building. Wind-introduced pressure and thermal pressure are two basic factors contributing to pressure-driving mechanism of wind flow. Four typical cases of successful application also were introduced. It is evident that the use of natural ventilation can save energy and protect environment, and it is used more and more common in European and American ecological buildings. Some possible problems about natural ventilation are described.
