Welcome to Guilin, one of China's most picturesque cities. While you are attending the EERB-BEPH 2009 Conference, you and your family may spare some time to join the local tour to travel around this wonderful place. Tour A（4-day tour）
Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Ping’an Village, Longsheng County. It takes about two hours and twenty minutes to drive there. Seeing the beautiful views of the terraced rice fields and the local ethnic minorities make you feel the trip is a worthy one. Watch the famous show “Dreamlike Lijiang” in the evening. Price: RMB 1000 per person Tour B（3-day tour） Day 1: After breakfast, visit Elephant Trunk Hill—the symbol of Guilin. Then, go to visit Fubo Hill on the west side of the Li River. You may enjoy a nice bird’s eye view of Guilin from the hill top if you are not afraid of climbing. Then, tour the Seven Star Park, the biggest park in Guilin. In the evening you’ll take a boat trip on the Lake System in town, which was a moat in the Song Dynasty. There is a demonstration of cormorants’ fishing on one of the lakes. The night views of pagodas, bridges, fountains and mountains are very pleasant to see, all lit up with colorful lights. That's why the Lake System is also called the Oriental Venice. Day 2: After breakfast, drive to Zhujiang Wharf to take the boat trip on the Li River. It’s a one-way cruise and you’ll enjoy the beautiful landscape along the River. Lunch (buffet) will be served on boat. The boat will arrive YangShuo in the afternoon. You’ll take a ride to Yulong River for bamboo rafting. Meandering along this tributary of the Li River is the best way to enjoy the stunning scenery in Yangshuo. You may spend some time in local market as well. In the evening, you’ll watch the nice show “Impression of Sanjie Liu”, directed by Yimou Zhang. Day 3: After breakfast, go to visit the Reed Flute Cave in western suburb of Guilin. The natural rock formations in the cave are amazing to see. Many foreign leaders have been there. Then, visit the Ancient City of Princess Jingjiang in town, where the well-known Solitary Beauty Peak is inside. Price: RMB 900 per person Tour C（2-day tour）
